root-quail began in 2019 when a group of language educators noticed a gap in online learning. Existing platforms offered either rigid schedules that ignored time zones or automated lessons without human interaction. Neither approach served adult learners effectively.
We built something different. Our platform connects you directly with native speakers who understand both the mechanics of their language and the cultural context that makes communication meaningful.
Based in Melbourne, we serve learners across Australia and New Zealand. Our instructor network spans fifteen countries, ensuring authentic accents and regional variations are part of your education.
